Diy Electronic Projects Knowledge Base
I'd like to change my career any suggestions? Right now I'm getting extremely bored and depressed with my job to the point of really just not ever going back there again. I work in the IT business, and the pay is reasonable but its no longer a challenge, just the same stuff day in and day out (the very definition of ennui). I am very good with my hands, intelligent, and I like to be creative whether it's a DIY project, rebuilding an engine or designing and building something electronic. Any suggestions for a suitable career path (or even a job offer!) as I'm out of ideas. Thanks...
DIY electronics, please help to find right component? Hello, I need some kind of a part that will lock/engage the circuit I will send power to it. It's kind of hard to explain as I don't know the names of anythings that has anythings to do with electronics I just know that, what I am making will work just not sure how yet. Basically I have power running from point "A" to point "B" and I need some kind of a an electronic "button"/switch that will brake and connect the line between two points when I will send power to it from else where. For example if I was to push a physical button "here", that, will send a power to the switch that I am talking about and make it connect points "A" and "B". Also I am looking for somethings for the same project, but this time I want "IT" to make the switch give more or less connectivity between points "A" and "B" depending on how much power I will send to the switch. If I send more power it will really connect the points and if I will send little power it will barely connect the points. The power that I will sent will come from a knob that regulates the amount of power being sent to the "switch". We have an electronics part store near by so I can go get the parts just need to know what parts, I hope you guys will be able to help me with this. If you have any questions please ask me on tryaccount01@gmail.com as I am sure I have confused everyone. The voltage that I am working with is somewhere between 3 to 6 volts.
