Electronic Design Software

is there a good (free) software that I can use to draw schematic diagrams (for bred board circuits)?

I need a software that I can use to design schematic diagrams, for things such as an AND Logic Gate, NAND Logic Gate, Two-Gate Clock, and various other electronic circuits. I would like it to be free if possible, thank you

1. Check out diptrace... there is a free hobbyist version with a 250 pin count limit. This program provides schematic capture , component editor and pcb layout only. THere is no simulation capability.
