Electronic Design Software

is the radioshack electronics lab a good start or need something else?

they have one left in my hometown radioshack and its about 60 or 70 dollars and i was wondering would that be a good one for starters for me to learn electronics or should i look for something else? if i need to look for something else, what then do i need?
