I am worried about taking electronics lab at my college. How dangerous is it?
The class is called Electronics Laboratory for Scientists. The teacher said no one has ever gotten seriously injured. I am scared of getting shocked. How worried should I be? I have to take the class for my major (physics).

- they don't have you work with anythign that high in voltage.. i mean even if you plug in the wrong thing.. it just ends up harming the equipment or chips more than it would harm you. Actually.. the worst i got hurt was by a burning op-amp. it felt like touching a curling iron quickly.. no big deal
- compared to what???? This is nothing in the big scheme of life...only experience that you may find one day reflecting back on and going...ohhhhhh, that's why I took this or, I sure am glad I took that class....go figure. There is nothing to fear but fear itself...just move foward and do it.
- Most electronics are low voltage and you would probably never get shocked even if you did it wouldnt hurt you.
