Electronic Design Software

I am worried about taking electronics lab at my college. How dangerous is it?

The class is called Electronics Laboratory for Scientists. The teacher said no one has ever gotten seriously injured. I am scared of getting shocked. How worried should I be? I have to take the class for my major (physics).

1. they don't have you work with anythign that high in voltage.. i mean even if you plug in the wrong thing.. it just ends up harming the equipment or chips more than it would harm you. Actually.. the worst i got hurt was by a burning op-amp. it felt like touching a curling iron quickly.. no big deal
2. compared to what???? This is nothing in the big scheme of life...only experience that you may find one day reflecting back on and going...ohhhhhh, that's why I took this or, I sure am glad I took that class....go figure. There is nothing to fear but fear itself...just move foward and do it.
3. Most electronics are low voltage and you would probably never get shocked even if you did it wouldnt hurt you.
