Will I be able to get into a decent college with the following information?

I'm a junior in highschool currently, with around a B average (3.4 GPA..give or take a few decimal points) Recently obtained a 1670 on the new SAT (though I'm taking it again in May and am aiming for at least an 1800) and the following schedule for next year: Pre-Calculus Lab Physics Italian 4 (Honors) Electronics 4 (Tech) Art I (Was required to take an art to graduate) Acad. English 4 I don't have alot of extracurricular activities, but I was a member of two clubs and had a steady job that I was employed at for over 2 years. I plan on maybe doing a sport next year and maybe joining another club.

  1. Yes. You might not get MIT, but I'm sure there are other fine colleges that will be more than happy to accept you. Keep working hard and good luck!
  2. oh ya your good
  3. Yes, You might want to do some volunteer work to add to your resume , and become the chair or president of some club at school ( in the area you wish to go into ) Best of Luck !
  4. sounds decent to me i got into a four year no problem with less. and its a great school that really works with their students. now scholarships might be another thing but I'm sure you can find some that would work great with what you have. especially community service. that is why i joined big brothers big sisters and that has helped a ton!
  5. I would say you should get into a good college. Just don't burn yourself out before you get there.
  6. I'm sure you'll be able to go to a descent college. Are you talking about a scholarship? You need to pick out a major and stick to that. But any descent college will take you in. As far as reputable colleges, you need a lot more work. You could go for a scientific degree. But sounds like you have plenty of time left to make those decisions. Keep your GPA up, that's a big, big help.
  7. You look like a prime candidate for a janitorial job at a High Class Restaurant.
  8. You'll be fine. If you can add some community service hours to your list.
