Fixing the trams on Noveria in Mass Effect?

I'm supposed to fix the plasma purge but it says I can't because my electronics skill level is too low. I've already leveled up and have killed everything in the lab. What do I do?

1. oh you need to activate one of the power stations when you first enter the room then you will have to enter inside a tube like and fix a computer once you fix that you have to go up the elevator and then kill the other beast then power up the station agian and that should help out if not send friend request to F1D37. and ill help you out 2morrow
